my favorite friends

I introduce my favorite people, a friend and boyfriend.

I have a friend since I was a elementary school student. Her name is Yuka. I and she attended same elementary school, junior high school, and high school. When I changed from one school to another and was unaccustomed the new school, she spoke to me in a friendly. Then we came to talk and became good friends.

She has a lot of friends because she is very sociable. She introduces me her friend sometime. There are many common acquaintances.

She always gives me a present on my birthday and has not forgotten my birthday present. She sends me e-mail at 12:00 a.m. on my birthday. It is usually first congratulation mail!

She has a brother, Takaaki. She resembles him greatly. He is a high school student, which is same to my school. He likes game, so he plays many games regardless of places.

She is good at sports. She belonged to basketball club as she was a elementary school student, to tennis club when she was a junior high school student, and to badminton club as she was a high school student. Besides, she play well table tennis,. And so on.

She went to technical school in Noboribetsu. She studies hardly to pass public examination.

Next, I have a boyfriend, Junichi. Junichi belongs to the department of fishery science. I and he are in same circle, Matsurinchu; it is Yosakoi circle.

He is from Niigata, which has much snow in winter than the part of area in Hokkaido.

I met him at welcome event that Hokkaido university was held before entrance into university.

I usually spend free time with him. I’m fun to be with him. He is funny and innocence.

In summer, we often went on a bicycle trip. When we are in his house, we watch the TV or movie.

He leave to Sapporo this autumn because the campus of the department of fishery science is located in Hakodate; which is the city most south of Hokkaido, so I am very sad. Therefore, I want to visit various place, eat delicious food, and talk about many things.

I am going to go to a spa hotel in spring vacation with him. I cannot wait!

I think it is essential to treat friendship as an important matter.

I want to be precious to encounters with people around me. Thank you.

my favorite family

I want to introduce my favorite people.

First, I tell you about my family.

My father’s name is Takeshi, he is 55 years old. He runs a motorcycle shop, “auto cycle Ito,” with his two brothers. There is the shop near my house in Noboribetsu.

As I was a child, I would ride on a back seat of his seat in a bike. Those were lovely time.

I often went to the shop to help the work. When I worked harder, my father gave me some money. Then I was very happy!

He likes playing the guitar and makes a band. On a holiday, he usually plays the guitar.

His character is funny but he often does not listen to what other person talks. There were a time I don’t like him very much because I was irritated by him, however, I like him now.

Next, I will write my mother. My mother is 56 years old; she is older than my father by one. Her name is Maki, she has a meticulous nature. She has not worked since she got married with my father.

My mother is a little strict person, so I was got angry sometimes such as when I came home at late night, and when I didn’t do what to do. Now, I thank for her to do so.

She is a good supporter for me. She helps me when I had a trouble. I realized existence of her since I left my country house and I lived alone.

Next, I tell you my older sister, Ayaka. She is older than me by seven years old. She works as an assistant in hospital near my country house. She lives with my father and mother.

I often play with her and talk about many things. On a holiday, I and she go shopping and go to watch a movie. The photo below is a shopping mall that we often go, MORUE. MORUE is in Muroran city. She has a driver’s license, so we go by car. We drive far place from my house such as Tomakomai.

When I am home, the time I spend with her is longest in my family. My room and her room are connected. So we are easy to go to each room.

I’m happy to be in this family.

Because I live alone now, I’m always looking forward to going back home.

my favorite season

Now, the season is winter. The season which I like the best is summer! I hope summer is coming soon. Today, I write about my favorite season, summer.

Summer in Hokkaido is not so hot, especially, my country town is cool comparatively in summer. The temperature is about only from 25s to 27. If I live another town such as Tokyo, Osaka, Okinawa, I might not like summer.

My hometown is in Noboribetsu in south of Hokkaido. I came to Sapporo last year, I was surprised because the summer in Sapporo is very hot! My friend said the year is particularly hot. Still, I remain to like summer.

I love summer for three reasons. First, you can go to beautiful sea! On a hot day in summer, I want to go to the sea. When I see the sea, I feel restful. The sea is very beautiful, especially on a sunny day. The surface of the water is shine, the sounds of wave can hear any time. Sapporo has not the sea, so I feel regrettable.

I like to talk with my friend in the sea. The sunset you can see from the sea is so wonderful!

The second reason is fireworks. The fireworks are a special attraction of summer. I always do them. They finish soon, however, I think it is the reason fireworks are beautiful. I like to watch rockets and also like to do it. There is a park near my house and I often do it there. Moreover, I like to do it beside in the sea! The sea in the night is so romantic. There are no lights there, except the flash of firework. I am particularly fond of small sparklers.

The last reason is festival. Festival is usually held in summer. I like the atmosphere of it. Then, I want to eat many food of street stall, such as a frankfurt sausage, a takoyaki, a okonomiyaki, a candy, a crepe, and so on.

Another pleasure of the festival is to wear yukata. Yukata is special; we do not wear it as usual. It makes woman look beautiful. Girls are often attracted it. I have some yukata, but I want to new yukata every year.

I go to festival in summer, When I was a junior high school student, I have been to five or festival in the summer of the year.

That is why I love summer. Summer vacation is necessary for me!

my favorite lunch

I eat lunch at a refectory in northern part almost a weekday; we call the refectory “Hoku-shoku.” Hoku-shoku has a lot of kinds of food, for example, curry and rice, noodles, donburi, and other dishes.

There are some refectories in Hokkaido University. Hoku-shoku is mainly used for people in the first grade. The number of seat is 1,000; it is the largest number of all refectories in Hokkaido University.

I have my favorite menu in hoku-shoku, I will introduce them.

First, it is hashed beef. Hashed beef is a daily meal that changes from day to day, so it is not always sold every day. I usually choose the menu when I found it. The taste is sourish and delicious. The size of it has three, S, M, and L. I mostly buy S size, but I feel it is not enough only it. So, I choose some other dishes.

Next, I tell dishes I often eat with a light heart. It is hashed potato. I like potato as a whole, especially, this dish is special! I was used to eat it every day. It is fried and the chewiness is nice and the amount of salt is just the right.

Another dish, it is pumpkin tempura. It can take in a vegetable easily and deliciously. The price of it is also good, 52 yen! I’m happy to eat it.

Finally, I introduce a dish, “cream cheese and a fried meat cake.” The price is 157 yen, it is very reasonable! When you take the dish just a little bite, cream cheese comes out from fried meat cake. The taste makes you develop into a passion. There is a fried-potato with the dish. It is one reason I like the dish.

Refectories in university are often held food fair. Last month, Christmas was fair taken place. There were a lot of delicious dishes in the fair, such as” hashed beef and ome-rice” (ome-rice is a stir-fried rice wrapped in an omelet). You can taste the two savors and the combination is very nice! I want you to eat once. You will realize the taste.

There were also the three kinds of Christmas cake, tiramisu, caramel cake, and strawberry cake. The prices of these were all 262 yen. I ate all of them at once with my friend. I felt so satisfied!

I have eaten many dishes in hoku-shoku. I spend enjoyable lunch time there every day.

my favorite sports

Sports are good for our health but we tend not to do exercise as we get older.

Though I am not good at sports, I like them.

Now, I will write my favorite sports and my memory of sports.

I belonged to badminton club when I was a fourth grade and a junior high school student. I played badminton with my family since when I child. I felt this sport is interesting at that time. When we became a fourth grade, we can belong to a club that we like in our school. So, I decided to enter badminton club.

I wanted to belong to same club when I was a sixth grade, but I can’t do so because the number of people that wanted to enter the club was numerous.

As I became a junior high school student, after hesitated, I determined to belong to badminton club. The practice had almost every day. Strength training was very hard sometime. We did a lot of running always as the first activity of the day. This sport was sweaty than I thought but it was also very exciting.

When I first grade in junior high school student, I won at Iburi area tournament. I was so happy. Moreover, I was appointed the vice captain of the club. I could take good experiences.

My favorite another sport is table tennis. In my house there was a ping-pong table, so that I used to play table tennis with my father and sister.

As I was a first grade at high school student, I participated in an autumn sports day in my school. I played doubles game with my friend but we lost by a wide margin. I was really bitterly disappointed. Then, we won once at a spring sports day. I was very glad and I wanted to win more. I chose table tennis on P.E. class and I was taught by P.E. teacher. I gradually made progress in it and I felt it is more and more fun.

Then, I decided to take part in table tennis match in spring sports day again. We practiced much for it, thinking “we want to win!”

The result of the game was not good. However, we got joy of playing table tennis together. Since then, I continued to participate table tennis game. Lastly, when I third grade in high school student, we took second place in a spring sports day! I can’t describe the joy.

Now, I played table tennis in P.E. class again. It is very fun and reminds me of happy memory of table tennis.

Sports are wonderful! I like to play it as well as to watch. I want to play sports and spare pleasure of playing sports with friends from now on.

my favorite movies

Movies can make a deep impression. A lot of new movies are being made now.

I like watching movies. I will want to introduce my favorite movies.

One of the most famous Japanese movies is GHIBLI series. They are popular among not only Japanese but also foreigners.

The movie in the series I like the best is “LAPUTA: Castle in the Sky.” It was made in 1986 by Hayao Miyazaki, who is great Japanese movie director.

The story is fantastic. One day, a young girl, Sheeta, fall off from the sky. She escaped out the window of airship because she ran away from Colonel Musuka, who is attempting to seize her and her magical pendant. As she fell, the pendant radiates a blue light and she gently floats to the ground. A young boy, Pazu catches her by chance. He takes her back his home and listens about LAPUTA; it is legend castle in the sky, from her. Then, they are trying to find the castle.

I like this story and also like theme song of this movie. The song was composed by Joh Hisaishi. His music is wonderful and I love them. I  sometimes play his music on the piano.

Next, I will write my favorite animation movie, “Detective Conan.” It also has many works. My most favorite movie is “Countdown to Heaven.” This story is exciting! A Twin Tower is built and opened to the public while a murderer kills its employees one by one. At the same time, the Black Organization are searching for Shiho Miyano.

It was release to 2001. I watched this film with my mother at the theater. It was for the first time that I saw a film of Detective Conan. Then I came to go to watch the series at the theater. I went to see the film of it this year.

Lastly, I tell “Toy Story”. The series are composed of three works. The best movie is Toy Story 3. It was released to 2010. I saw it on 3D at the theater in Sapporo.

The story is interesting and moving. When I saw the movie, I made an impression and cried touchingly. Toy Story is story the world of toys is described and tells us importance of toys.

Woody is Andy’s toy. Andy played with woody and other toys. However, when he became 17 years old, he no longer played with toys. Therefore, Andy’s mother attempted to throw away toys. Toys were shocked and think the way Andy plays with them again but Toys find many difficulties.

I want many people to see these films. Movies are wonderful!

my favorite singers

Today, I will write about my favorite singers.

I like listening to music very much. I learned to play the piano since I was six years old until I graduated from the high school. So, I’m fond of music.

I have a favorite women singer since I was a junior high school student.

She is aiko. Aiko is cute and good at singing very much. She has many fans.

She is from Osaka. She is thirty five years old now, but she looks very young.

The songs composed and written by her are wonderful. I can sympathize with the words of love songs.

I like the song “flower wind” best. The melody is nice and cheerful. Her clear voice matches the song.

Next, I introduce a famous group whose I most want to go to live concert. The group is EXILE; they are popular most from all generations. I love the group since when I was a third-year student in junior high school student.

At first, EXILE was composed of six members; two vocals and four performers. Then I liked one vocal, SHUN. A few years later, he withdrew from the group. I was very sad but new members enter EXILE. One is AKIRA, a performer, and the other is TAKAHIRO, a vocal. I came to like them quickly. TAKAHIRO is cool and has many talents and AKIRA is interesting person. Now, TAKAHIRO is my favorite member all of them.

In 2009 EXILE was integrated a group, J Soul Brothers and the member of EXILE became fourteen. These days they are active not only music activity but also television programs. They were awarded the “record prize” two consecutive years.

Ballade of EXILE is so nice.  ATSUSHI has very beautiful voice and his how to sing is wonderful. I think he is one of nice singers in Japan. I also like TAKAHIRO’s voice.

My favorite song is “kiss you”, “Choo Choo TRAIN”, “If ~I know~”… There are many favorite songs! I often sing them at karaoke box. I have some CD of EXILE.

Lastly, I will write my favorite and respectable singers. The name of them is “sukimaswitch.” They compose, write, and edit the song by themselves. They are composed two person; Takuya Ohasi, vocal and guitar, Shintaro Tokita, chorus and piano. I saw them first in a music program on television. I could not forget the melody of their song and wanted to listen once more.

Then I often listened to their song and the more I listened, the more I liked them.

The most favorite song of sukimaswitch is “kanade.” It is the love song that lovers get separated from each other. It is sad and painful.

Another favorite song is “designer’s apartment.” The song is rhythmical and sounds of words are good. I think they are really great singers. I want more people to listen their songs.
